Starting to measure change

Karl had a great sleep last night after a successful enema, and slept soundly for 5-6 hrs until 6.30am. Oxygen saturation slowly improving when he is not on oxygen support (88% now, 85% three days ago, 80% five or six days ago). His lungs are slowly improving. Hospital will do a repeat CT scan and compare lung consolidation/ opacities next week.

Did leg presses and breathing exercises this morning. Can now manage 5 consecutive breaths (compared to 2 yesterday). Planning to count the number of seconds in standing during chair transfer today. Sat out of bed this morning for 2 hours.

Has a ‘slight fever’ this afternoon of unknown origin. Feeling squeaky clean and 5kg lighter after the enema. Needs a beard trim and haircut…
